Conditions: Monsoon, followed by a stiff gale then hillfog clearing to brilliant sunshine for the descent of Goatfell and the journey from the island.

This was a Pre-Summit Adventure for the Adventure Travel Trade Association annual summit which was held afterwards at Aviemore - we managed coastal walks/flooded road wading, Round The Island Biking, uber-adventurous sea kayaking and a walk up Goatfell as well as castle and distillery visits, Golf!! and local food tastings in three short days

Thank you very much for a great trip to the island of Arran. I really enjoyed my first Sea kayaking trip and would love to do it again. The walking, the scenery and the atmosphere of the island were very enriching and relaxing.
The whiskey tour was very interesting and the trip to the pub on Saturday night was a great eyeopener. Sunday, cycling around the island could not have been better. What with the beautiful sunshine and super panorama of views. It was really great of the hotel to allow us the use of the pool and leisure facilities to relax in after the cycle even though we had already checked out ..... so a big thank you to all there. Accommodation was top class and the food was excellent.
You could not have done a better job for us all so again thank you and a big thanks to Isabella also. If you are planning on visiting Ireland let me know and we will meet up.
