The trip was fantastic from every perspective. Richard and Johannes were the perfect guides, great company and very helpful with the guys who needed a bit of encouragement to get up the hill. Robert the bus driver was punctual and very professional as well so we were really happy with the “service”.
Everyone really enjoyed the day. The packed lunches were tasty, especially the rocky road cake that Johannes provided and dinner at the Drovers was very enjoyable and much appreciated after a few hours on the hill. The walk itself was excellent. Overall we were pretty lucky with the weather with only a few showers. The pace was good and the hill was quite challenging in places but everyone felt a good sense of achievement in making it to the top and this was definitely down to the guides who provided support and encouragement along the way.
