Ben Lomond 9th June
Guide - Jon
Customers - Carey, Michael, Jessie
Conditions - Mixed
FIrst Ben Lomond trip of the year for Walkabout (discounting a wet adventure in May) - the hill was really busy with a couple of charity events (who were well briefed since there was no one dropping litter).
It was a true midgie-fest on the summit so we climbed down via the steeper Ptarmigan Ridge route to avoid both sets of crowds.

Ben Nevis weekend June
Guide - Jon
Customers - Vic and Patsy, Katalin and Liz
Conditions - Glorious!
We were still in the Highland Heatwave so Ben Nevis was pretty busy but we got up there in good time and spent an hour or so on the summit relaxing in the snow patch. The Buachaille on Sunday was a good contrast - less people and a complete absence of litter

All-Edinburgh Cup Final Day trip to Drummochter Pass Hills
Guides - Jon & Dixie
Clients - 11 Hearts fans and neutrals from Quintiles Sports & Social Club
Conditions - Clear and surprisingly warm in between the snow showers
This was a fun trip as we had the background of the first all Edinburgh Cup Final in a century which the group had decided to miss by walking over three of the Drummochter Pass Munros (Geal Charn, Ben Udlamain and a' Mharconaich) - a good ten mile walk but with less ascent than most multi-munro bagging days. We also stopped for some excellent pub food and beers in the Atholl Arms on the way home.

Ben Vrackie by Train - Monday 19th March
Guide - Jon
Clients - Will, Suze & Sandra Dee
Conditions - Overcast, warm-ish low down and wintry wind on the summit
This was our first day tour of 2012 - the previous 3 winters we have still been skiing in mid March (either at one of the Scottish ski centres or touring around the Glenshee hills) - today we had no hint of snow or ice on Ben Vrackie and just a few glimpses of snow stripes over on Shiehalion, Ben a Ghlo and the southern Cairngorms when the icy wind intermittently lifted the cloud base. We wandered off back to Pitlochry by way of the Bealach path before stopping for a tasty pub dinner and real Atholl Ale at the Moulin Inn
