Thanks so much for a great trip! Every day was better than the one before, and Ian was an amazing guide- incredibly smart, funny, and attuned to everyone's needs and abilities. We couldn't have asked for a better Scottish adventure!

PS. Not sure who the first 3 women were- there were just 8 of us and Ian...lets hope they weren't in the trunk the whole time!

In any case, thanks Walkabout!

Hi Ian--hope this finds you well. Like Kathy, Paul, Ilya, and Andrew--we found the trip spectacular.

I know that I had no expectations as to what to expect so I would not have been disappointed with most anything. Instead Julie and I were so thoroughly wowed by the Scottish Highlands--the countryside is magical, the vistas like none we've experienced, the trails beautiful, the b&b's friendly and quaint---and then there's Ian.

To mirror Ilya, Kathy, and Paul--Ian is made to guide the highlands. He's a bright light from the first minute to the last each day--knows more about where you are and the history of it that I'm pretty sure he makes up a lot of it ;-)(just kidding)--and he just laces it into the day like meat in shepherds pie. What a treat.

So, the long and short--great place to vacation, wonderful "walking", terrific guide...couldn't have been better!
