Big Highland Tour - May
Guide - Peter
Customers - Hayley & Amanda, Blair & Peggy, Dolly, Stefania, Beth and Alda for the first week
Conditions - Wintry for the first few days, glorious sunshine and snow on Ben Nevis, complete heatwave in the second week

went to the site but the feedback section seems to be deactivated. I loved the hiking. Peter is a fabulous guide and leader. I wish we'd had more consistency in hotels. The last one I stayed in was the best and it would be nice if all the hotels could be of that calibre. The dinner allowance should be a little higher as main entrees are pricy. I had a very good time, thank you, and Peter is very good at his job. Obviously competent, but also patient and always ready to make everything as pleasant as possible for each member of the group. As you know we were blessed with the weather, and Scotland is more beautiful than ever.
There are a couple of things that might be improved: - If possible try to accommodate all the guests in the same guest house (or consider a reduction for the less lucky ones), - on transfer days, though I understand you want to show people as much as possible on the way, maybe select stops in 'magical' places rather than more obvious places
It's difficult to say it in words because the 'concept' I have in mind is of a holiday in Scotland which is 'pure magic' from beginning to end, so that in the end the guest has experienced not just a walking holiday, but a magical experience, having seen nothing other than beauty. Something which could be achieved in the Highlands.
Have you considered a walking holiday from place to place just walking, no van involved if not for luggage transport? Maybe a steam train transport (again 'the magical factor') to cover a longer leg?
But it was a positive experience. I wish you a pleasant Summer.
