Conditions - Complete heatwave! It is truly disconcerting when you turn up early in Fort William to pick up supplies before the 10 hour adventure which is the Carn Mor Dearg Arrete route up Ben Nevis and the temperature gauge on the Nevis Centre is already reading 20c at 08.30am...

I would like to take the opportunity, on behalf of all the lads, to sincerely thank you for a magnificent trip you laid on for us this weekend. Everything went excellent. Some of the lads even missed your breakfast skills after you left. John Paul and Gary looked after us very well. Please pass on our appreciation to both of them, especially John Paul who put up with us for all of the trip. It was great meeting up with them again. The walks were all brilliant and you did very well organising the beautiful weather. If we do go back to Scotland we will be availing of Walkabout's services again.
